Russ was recently asked to sing on Michael English’s upcoming solo cd (which is going to be INCREDIBLE!) He joined Michael and Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts in the studio this week– here’s their initial practice run, harmonizing on a chorus. Sounds pretty good to me!

AWESOME BOYS!!! 1st I catch Jay Producing my Buddy Jason Scheff and Chicago and now he’s singing some down home Gospel…Michael you are amazing as always and Russ, your feel is so soulful and you are the true King and Master of the “Uh Huh” Groove!!!!
Many may not remember but Jay was in the Contemporary Christian group East To West before his success with Rascal Flatts. I saw them, ETW, at Celebrate Freedom many years ago in Las Colinas, TX when they held it down by the Mustangs statues. I still have one of their Cds in my collection somewhere…LOL.
